Bronte Stag Weekend Event
Prior to the onset of COVID Tony Fox, together with family and friends, hosted a three-day get-together for Triumph Stag owners on the days prior to and the day of British Car Day. Now in its 40th year, British Car Day is held at Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville (just west of Toronto, ON) and is organized by the Toronto Triumph Club.
The Stag gathering will provide an opportunity for Stag owners to attend a premier British car show and also to participate in a number of enjoyable drives through the southern Ontario countryside visiting museums or other destinations with a transportation interest. Lunch and dinner outings will also be arranged to enable Stag owners to socialize and talk about their beloved cars.
Bronte Stag Weekend 2024 was held September 14-15 with two days of Stag activities prior to the Toronto Triumph Club's 39th annual British Car Day held at Bronte Creek Provincial Park, just west of Toronto. Besides joining the largest group of Stags assembled anywhere in North America we had the opportunity to inspect well over 1,000 British vehicles participating. Each year amazes us with the rare models of vehicles that appear, many of which I have not seen for years.
British Car Day 2025 will be held September 21, 2025. Once registration opens in the spring, you can optionally pre-register for the car show (CAN$20) and save $5 through the Toronto Triumph Club's website rather than pay at the gate. To check whether registration is open yet, click on Fast Lane Registration. This will speed up your entry into the park.
